Overview of your role inside the team:
As a PHP Zend Developer in our team, you will participate to various projects. As an example, one of the current missions that you will take on is to redesign a current website in order to ensure functionalities like integrating and consulting different documents, geo-location and internationalization with the following constraints: responsive design and operation on the latest versions of browsers.
The site will be developed in WordPress and Zend 2.
In this context, you will join a dedicated team of 4 highly experienced PHP specialists: 1 Scrum Master, 2 Developers, 1 Tester. The job will be located in one of the cities where Pentalog is present: Iasi, Brasov, Cluj, Bucuresti or Sibiu.
As a PHP Zend Developer, you will be in charge with followings:
- to write quality code;
- to point out issues and advocate the best solutions while still presenting both the advantages and the limits that each one implies;
- to guide the development of new modules and the further expansion of the existing ones;
- to act as a mentor and coach towards other team members;
- to write technical specifications and reports.
Your profile
In order to be considered for this position, you must have:
- Confirmed experience in working on PHP based online applications, website projects (at least 3 years);
- Very good knowledge of Zend is mandatory; knowledge in Symphony, PHP4, PHP5, JavaScript JQuery are a great advantage;
- Knowledge of WordPress is mandatory;
- Experience with SQL Oracle and MySql;
- Knowledge of Webservices Json & REST will be a plus;
- Fluency in English is mandatory; any French knowledge would be considered a plus;
- Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
